I don't think you earn just for having people on your list, but you can certainly benefit from it. For example, people on your buddy list can see discussions you start and make contributions to it..and they can choose to give you a plus which helps your ratings.

I dont think so? I think it's just so you can be friends with like minded people and then you can see when they post new discussions and vice versa

I don't think so u get to make any money for having freindz in your list, but u build your network, and remmember u get paid for the referrals and not for friendz u have in your list.
