Falling Hair

When my hair was really long I had experience falling hair. Hair would always be left where ever I go: chair, sofa, bed, etcetera. I have tried using hair fall control shampoos but nothing happened. So I cut my hair. It's about shoulder-length now but still I have falling hair. What should I do?

Don't worry, I think that's normal. I also have falling hair. As long as you don't get bald in certain spots, it's okay to "shed" hair. It will easily be replaced. Research said that a person "sheds" about 20 - 30pcs of hair in a day. However, if you see that you are "shedding" in just one area, then I think you should consult a doctor. e might be able to address your concern and find out why exactly do you have falling hair despite the "treatments" you use. It might be because of the shampoo you use, the conditioner, the way you comb or sleep at night. Many possibilities.

I'd lose count of it and even if I could, I wouldn't pay attention to it unless I'm already getting bald. Thankfully that's not the case. I often change my shampoo every 2 weeks or every month. I did notice that when I changed to Pantene Hair Fall Control, I didn't get a lot of falling hair anymore. I still do but it wasn't as worse as before even though I originally thought Pantene does not really work well for me. But surprisingly it did.

I shed like a molting dog, regardless of the length. As long as it's not thinning, I wouldn't be overly concerned. I have noticed that brushing it more often catches those loose pieces and I see less of it laying around. I also see less of it if I wear my hair down, rather than in a ponytail or a barrette.

I had the sample problem just like you...I also noticed after taking a bath and combing my hair, I can see falling hair even on the floors. I think its because of stress that's why we have this kind of problem with the hair. I don't believe with this hair fall control I tried it before but to no avail.

Yes, these shampoos didn't improve my condition, too.

This is a common problem, but have various reasons.. Some times , the water you are using makes the difference , or the shampoo, or the diet.. First , find out the cause, it will help you to solve the problem...

I also have falling hairs. I dont know how it starts but like you I have long hair. I dont know what causes it, but it seldom happens unlike yours. It only happens every time I wash my hair and when I comb only. I still keep my long hair, I dont like it when it's short. So there. With your problem, maybe its with your shampoo. I am not sure though but do consult a doctor.

My hair falls by itself even if I'm not combing it yet

I have been deal with the same problem. I also have very fine hair. so a couple of days ago I cut it short. so far it seems to help for now. The shampoo's to help with is issues is so expense and then what if it doesn't work.
