many say that it is important or necessary to spend time with one self. im not a busy person but i seldom spend time with my self. im not even sure if i have really spent time with 'me'. maybe im afraid to face and talk with 'me'. how did you spend time with yourself and when was that?

Hi strawberryrain. Wow, I honestly can't remember the last time I have had "me" time. It's kind of funny, because I hadn't thought about it until I seen your question. After rummaging through my mind, the last time that I can remember actually having some time to myself was approximately 7 years! No kidding, just about 7 years ago, I pulled my children from public school and started homeschooling and since then, I was either working or teaching....lol.

lol...I would love to have some "me time" but I don't see it happening any time soon. Being the only one working my business, I have more than enough work to stay busy and even if I did take a break, I would just worry about the work that needs to be done.

There are a few ways I spend time with myself. Meditation can really make you stay with yourself, get to know yourself better and have peace of mind. I like to communicate with myself when looking into the mirror and alone in the washroom. Other than that, watching movie alone and reading also helps to sort out some thoughts. But it has been a long time since I spend time with myself maybe it is because I am not alone as I am currently pregnant. Haha!

hey strawberry rain, for me spending time with myself is like an everyday routine. I cannot survive a day without it. It could be just reading a book while plugged in to my ipod or just watching my fave movie. Even though I'm busy with almost everything (that's the pressure of a graduating student) I still find time to just enjoy myself, I need to relax before I head onto my next venture... lolz xp

Strawberry I feel its very important to find out me-time for ourselves. Even though we hardly could manage it but we all need it. Its indeed refreshing and rejuvenating and it kinda gives us energy and strength to fight the odds. Happy Living.
