Wrap it up in some ham and they will eat it. Also you can put it in there food bowl and also give them it in peanut butter. It will be sweet and they wont notice the pill.

I usually hide my dog's meds in a piece of sausage or something he likes and he'll eat it without noticing, but I know some dogs are harder than that. If it doesn't work to crush the meds and hide it in his food, then I'd just open dog's mouth, put the meds as far in his mouth as possible, close mouth and rub his throat gently a bit so he has to swallow.

i must admit that it's really difficult to make dog have the medicine especially for the troche. most medicine can be crushed down and then mixed with food. additionally, for the troche, we can also put it on the back of the dog's tongue and then close its mouth for seconds. then the dog will swallow it.

Dogs can be really stubborn I know. The best way to do this is to drop the pill on the food. He will eat it without noticing. not many dogs like taking medicine! Try it out. it will work.
