I believe everyone will be keen on certain things. For me I like reading very much and as a learner of English,I like reading English novels so much that I nearly got crazy about it. I just think the English language is very beautiful and there are so many great books like Pride and Prejudice,Jane Erye,Gone with the wind,Tale of two cities,Black beauty,Call of wild,Robinson Crusoe...that once I started to read I just can not put them down until my eyes hurt.Sometimes I found them so excellent that I will read the same book again and again. So I'd like to share the feelings of reading with you, what do you like the most and why?

Hi!I am a new user here and I love reading too.I think we are the same people, because I like reading very much,I have read Pride and Prejudice,Jane Erye and so on.But it is regrettable that my English is poor, and I only can read the Chinese version books,I can not be able to read the English ones.I will try my best to study English and I believe one day I can read English original books.

Dear dude, very nice to meet you here and I'm so glad that you also love reading and love those famous books. They are very amazing, right? But it's really a shame that you can not read the original ones at the moment.Since you know there must be things that can not be just translated into another language, there are things that must be felt and understood in the original language,I'm sure of that,so I think you must feel more about these novels if you can read the original ones. Such as now I'm reading the original edition of Gone with the wind which is over 1000 pages,it's just so wonderful...,I can assure you that.So really wish you can read them in English as soon as possible and enjoy thess treasures, good luck!

Dear Valeria, thank you so much for your response. You know it's the 1st discussion I've started and it's a little bit boring, hehe. It's just me myself that's so crazy about the English language all the time since my secondary school when I first learned the ABC of the language. So it maybe kind of weird for others,it's comprehensible,so to tell the truth,I haven't expected even a response from anyone for such a bad discussion,I can not help regretting ever posting it,hehe. So I can not thank you enough for your response. Anyhow,I will try my best to do better in future. And what's more,it is meeting a lot of friends just like you from all over the world that counts most, isn't it?

I like reading a lot and I'm also a big fan of the English language. I once read the novel Dracula, the original edition which was quitte hard for a foreigner to read, but I managed. I was about 15 years old back then. I also like reading lighter material like harry potter and such books, I love fantasy books.

Dear Cyberfluf, thank you so much for your response.I'm so happy that you are also a big fan of the English language. You are very amazing to read an orginal edition of English novel at 15!Oh,really admire you!For me,I only started to have a crush on English novels at college time.I've read the novel Dracula too,but it's a short cut edition which of course contains much less information as the original one,so now I prefer original editions more and more, but problem is as a foreigner,I just found the original edition is really hard to get.Quite disappointing, right? But I will be always trying to get more by different ways such as by borrowing from the library or try to buy some from the internet. Happy reading, dear friend!

I read Dan Brown's Da vinci Code less than 1 day. I read many many books, if I 'm in the mood of reading, I can read all day long. But there is a time when I can't even finish first chapter of the book I read.
