Nature extracts a very heavy penalty when we ignore its warnings.

People are well aware that we have to take care of our environment but we keep on destroying it; we cut trees, damp waste in our waters and pollute the air with toxic substances. We ignore the warnings given beforehand - like the global warming, the air pollution, floods. We are a race that is bound to exterminate ourselves. When calamities occur, we bemoan our loses and ask why? But we don't realize, we are only getting back what we have given out. When nature extracts punishment, it is without mercy. What are your thoughts on these? Your inputs are most welcomed.

Definitely, what will you sow so shall you reap the results of it. If we keep ignoring the signs and keep on damaging mother nature, we will definitely be getting its consequences. For instance, we already have opened a hole in our ozone layer and this is consistent with an increase in skin cancers all over the world. We are increasing the effects of green house gases by polluting our breathing air and that is the very reason our climate is getting warmer every single day. The nature is not something to be blamed on. It doesn't casts its punishment on us. It is simply trying to balance out all those factors that are being constantly being added to its biosphere that shouldn't belong there at first place. Thank you for increasing the awareness on this topic.

Wow, that was some input, I would have to agree absolutely! Mother nature is just balancing all the factors we put forth. You're right of course...what a way to put it. I appreciate your very significant contribution to this discussion. Thanks a lot.

Thank you for thinking and acknowledging my statements regarding our environment. See it is something that cannot be achieved individually, rather all have to do our part in making our biosphere safer and cleaner for the future generations to come. Sadly, we all try to neglect too often our natural reserves and we already are paying the price for this. Think of it like a vicious cycle that will keep on repeating itself until we get to see the worst of it. I hope we don't see that day and before that happens, we all have hopefully corrected our ways of living and treating our surroundings. Thanks for your time.
