Personally I prefer to use a BagLess vacuum. What do you like to use?

At the moment I have a traditional. That's only because it was given to me. I prefer to use the bagless. They are so much easier to use.

A bagless vacuum takes dirt that your nose hairs stops from getting in your lungs and spins in around until the dirt because so small you can inhale it with ease when the vacuum shoots it out one of its loose gasket filters. And when you dup that cup, guess what? Fine dust and allergens all in your face. The first vacuums were bagless, then they put a bag in them. Do you have a trash bagless trash can? Of course not. Oh, and you think you're saving money by not having to buy bags? Try buying a couple $20 HEPA (yeah right) filters. Do you and your family a favor and get a quality vacuum with bags from a local independent vacuum dealer? Stop buying crap from Wallys World. Doesn't your home deserve it?

My vacuum is bagless and it was an expensive one. I just purchased it recently. Emptying it is not that big of a deal. It picks up great. I am happy with it.

What is easier? Dumping a cup and getting a face full of dust or throwing away a bag?

The only bagless vacuum I would ever own is a Rainbow and it uses water as a filtration.

Bagless by far is the worst thing the vacuum cleaner industry has ever done to this nation. In Germany, where the best vacuums are built, you couldn't find a Dyson or Bissel.

Neither! I have a rainbow vacuum and it filters the dirt with water and doubles as a clean air machine when not in use!

I have a bagless and really don't like it all that much. I like the small size but I still have to deal with replacing a filter. I guess I'm one of the few people who prefer the old fashioned throw away bags.

Well you know people were giving our surveys here really cheap. I have both and thanks for asking. A filter queen and a hoover. The hoover from sears and of course the filter queen from a salesman. (he was really cute):-)YOu ask a question everyone answers and then they basically can catagorize it.

Who knew this would be such a heated discussion? Bagless is great by me, because you can't whirl around dog hair enough to particlize it. And I mostly vacuum up dog hair. Plus, I don't think we want our environment to be so scrupulously clean. That's how you develop allergies. (At least that's one theory)
