Attention! Anyone who has an answering machine!
In my next lesson, I will be talking about answering machine. And I'm really looking forward to know some very very interesting answering machine record,like Ross did in FRIENDS:" We will, we will, call you back!"
And if you would be so kind ,also tell me something that you do and don't do in using the answering machine, both the caller and receiver.
Please,I'm waiting. And I will pick a best response as the most interesting one.

I just inform everyone that calls,that I am screening my calls to stop the telemarketers,if any one wants to talk to me,I will answer if available or will call back as soon as I get the message.
works pretty good,I have cut way back on the number of spam calls.

If I call someone and after a few rings the ansering machine goes on its rare that I leave a massage,I just dont like speaking into the answering machines lol ,for a start I feel daft,talking to myself.If I have no option but to leave a message then I always stumble to find the right words,and the message always ends up all jumbled.
