Does your cat bite, chew, nibble, cuddle your head?

If I am sitting on the couch and my youngest cat Baby Gray (or Bug as I've been calling him) climbs up on the back of the couch, he will bite and nibble the back of my head. If I am sleeping and he comes into the bedroom, he will automatically lay down on my pillow above my head and wrap his who body around my head and start purring. He is a little over a year old, was abandoned and brought to me at about 4 weeks old. He never breaks the skin and it all seems in play except for he will go to sleep wrapped around my head! What is the funniest thing your cat does?

The kitten that showed up on our door step has a problem with biting... I don't know why it does that but it does.. it likes to bite our fingers and toes..

This kitten was probably taken from mom and siblings too young to have been corrected by them about the biting. It may also be an attempt to nurse, but he's forgotten how to do so, but remembers he liked it. I think that's what's with Booboo's biting. He mouths our fingers until he works them back to his molars, then it hurts! Taj nips because he never was fully corrected by siblings since he came to us at 4 weeks.

That is so cute, my kitten is actually four months old and when I am sitting on the floor, my cat will take her paws and run her nails through my hair. It is like she is combing my hair. She'll fix it up. She's like my own personal hairstylist. Lol. I try to fix it after she messes it up and she'll go back and fix it how she had it. It's like she's saying no it looks better my way. Lol.

Did you let him sleep by your head when you got him? Some cats like to breath your breathe, you become like their mother. The smell of you, your hair/shampoo is reassuring to him and that's probably why he likes to mess with your hair and sleep by your head. Could just be the smell of you on your hair too. I had a cat that only wanted to knead on bare skin, but sometimes she'd go after the scalp - ouch! She actually was pretty good about it if her nails were trimmed.

Actually, he just started sleeping with me about 2 months ago. He was almost a year when he just started asking if he could.
