Yourself, where you grew up, your family? I have spoken with so many people that are not so proud of these experiences; are you?

Well, I am so proud to be an Iraqian citizen, I born there, grow up there, I have a wonderful family, we all have suffered a lot, but I hope the good things are coming up, we never give up in any situation, we believe in our God that one time all this war there will be gone and the good things will coming again. Have a nice day and happy posting.

I am very proud of my family , they are wounderful i love them very much. My parrents did a great job in raising me . I think where i grew up is a great place to grow up, that is why i am raising my kids here. I am proud of myself , I think i am a great person to know , and i do my best to be a great mom to my kids and a wounderful wife to my husband . I don't like to brag about myself it not in my nature but i do think i am a very nice person.

Hi Michelle! It's not bragging, you are proud, and you should be. This is why I posted this, for everyone who is proud, and even those who may not be. We all need to express our inner-self. I know already you are a very nice, kind person.. your children are as lucky as you were growing up!

hello nanciem, this actually quite a good question. often i ask myself and wonder how i can be useful to the society. but seriously one need not have anything great to be proud of himself. if a person does his own work perfectly he should be more than happy.same is the case is with me and my family . my dad was from a poor family who grew up to a respected citizen.me,iam just a student now and i have nothing regret in my life. thnks for reading all the best

Yes, I am proud of myself, where I grew up and my family. Though I wasn't born on a silver platter. I went to a public college and took up nursing. I even had part time work as a student just to make up with my allowances and some school fees. Now that I'm a registered nurse, I earn quite enough to support my parents and my brother is also a core skills trainer in one of the largest call centers here in the philippines. We both are successful despite what we went through before. Poverty isn't much of a hindrance to success, as long as you strive hard and with prayers, you will succeed.

I am proud the of the person I have become despite the way I grew up. I grew up pretty poor, with a single mother who was raising 5 kids. I am proud of my mother for managing, and being able to raise 4 responsible adults. I am proud of my family, we did the best we could with what we had.

This is so nice to read! We all are not as fortunate as others, FINANCIALLY, but can be "Richer" in other areas. And, it sounds like you are! Keep being proud, no matter WHAT! I grew up with 6 Sisters and 2 brothers, ups and downs, but like you we were pretty poor, but hey.. we grew up ok, most of us anyway! My mother did a great job, and we pitched in as needed! Continue to be proud!

I am proud of my parents for the way they raised me and my brother . I think they did one heck of a job . Gave us all the love in the world , and would , and have done anything for us . I respect what a hard worker my father was his whole and feel sad that lately he has been delt a hard card. I am proud that my brother and me are okay people , if you know what i mean . We dont judge , or put down , and are respectful .

Am can't really say i'm proud of myself because i don't like to blow my own trumpet, but i do think i'm a decent person, i've worked hard to get the things i want and i treat others with respect. I am incredibly proud of my family, my parents are wonderful people, my father worked really hard to get where he has and has been able to provide me and my brother with the best childhood we could ever have asked for, and not just materially, we have always felt loved and been offered unconditional support and understanding! My mother is brilliant too, she devoted many years of her like to raising me and my brother and no matter how old we get she never stops provding for us, she's always there to offer guidance, a shoulder to cry on or someone to have a good giggle with! If i turn out to be half as good a mother as she is then i truly will feel proud of myself!!! I am one really lucky young lady to be able to say all this with the upmost sincerity!! xxx

Yes, i am. I am proud of who i am now and i thank my dear parents for raising me up to be God fearing, good citizen, loving person and to whatever traits i have. I have no regret in my life being them as my parents. Until now they are still supportive to me and my family.
