Have you ever heard a song on the radio and wonder, "How did that song ever become a hit? What were people thinking putting that song into the Top 10, or at #1? What is the worst song ever, the most hideous lyrics, the most hideous singing, the worst musical arrangements?
I would say any song by Soulja Boy, the guy who put out "Lollipop," or any other song of that nature.
How about you?

Strangely I do like both of those songs you are talking about... basically because they are catchy... and it seems catchy songs go pretty far nowadays. But as for ridiculous songs that I have NO clue how they made it big... Have you heard "If I Had A Hammer" by Peter, Paul, and Mary? Look that baby up on youtube, and check out some lyrics if you can.... how did that thing become popular!?!

Yeah, I agree, we all have had these moments, because with every hit there ever was there were still people who did not like it with the majority of others. I don't like most of the mainstream music out there, so I don't really follow what hits there are, and I barely listen to the radio, so I am probably very behind when it comes to what is "in" in the music business. We all just have our own preferences.
