Hi there chechuva! Congratulations! By the way, are you now in Saudi Arabia? Since this discussion of yours is 1 month old, I pressume that you are already in Riyadh by now. How is it going so far? Are you enjoying your job there? Have you adjusted to their way of life? Anyway, one of the things I like about working there (I never worked there but some of my friends are based there.) is that the salary is not subjected to income tax. Moreover, working in a hospital will give you lots of benefits that you will surely enjoy. Tell us about your stay there okay...

Well I wish you all the best my friend in your job abroad. I just hope you will be fine in Saudi Arabia. I hope you are in good company and you will have no problem there. I just wanna tell you to take care because you are a woman. Always observe the rules and regulation of this country. Riyadh is a very strict place so you've got to be aware of their custum and tradition. You can't just go walking with another man if you are not married and you cannot just go out without wearing Abaya. I presume you underwent Pre departure orientation seminar and all the do's and dont's must have been taught to you. Just keep extra care and don't forget to pray! My best wishes for you.

my bandmate worked there for two years in an engineering firm and he said it took him a while to adjust because he kept missing his wife and son which is normal. being with his fellow filipino friends helped cheer him up. the money he earned from his job to support his family has also helped process their migration papers to australia. according to him, there are strict laws when it comes to religion/faith and also being around with the opposite s e x. you probably know that already. well anyway, goodluck to your new adventure and i'm sure you'll be alright. bon voyage!
