They say that money is the root of all evil..but exactly what about money is evil? I guess, it's absence is the root of all problems, despair and eventually it boils down to evil. So hypothetically if you have 1 million dollars in your pocket right now, what are you going to do with it? Hope to hear your opinion...^^

It's actually love of money is the root of all evil. It means that greed causes people to kill, steal, deceive, exploit or use fraud to try to get more money. Those who have a lot of money always seem to want more and are never satisfied. I would rather just have enough money to live on and not have the responsibility of a huge amount of money, that would need investing and spending wisely. I would invest some so that I could have an income from it. I would also invest some of it in small projects that need money to get started but don't qualify for commercial loans. I would not want a big house, but I would like to buy some land for myself and plant some trees and it would be a haven for wildlife.

Normally, Humans as we are...never will we be satisfied, for man is insatiable by nature. The bad thing is that due to greed, people tend they would simply crumple their dignity, lowering themselves to the level of insignificance...Buying a lot that is close to nature is indeed a great start to spend the million..^^

I would first of all give some to charity, then pay off my house loan and other bills. Put some money in an education trust fund for my daughter. Set aside some money for travel. Then I would invest the rest of the money for the future. Hopefully, it will generate more money for me.

It's really important to place GOD above everything else..After thanking him, one can spend his/her money to whichever way he desires..as long as it's in a good way^^

If I was blessed to have a million dollars right now I would give some to charity first. I always say if you're blessed why not pass some of those blessings to those less fortunate. Someone is always worst off than you. Then I would pay off all my bills buy a nice size house for my family and help out some of my other family. Then I would just keep the rest in the bank. I dont obviously think its the money that is evil more or so the greed that is evil. When people recieve money like that they get greedy and want more than they need. And once you start overly buying its soon to become an avalanch of problems.

The statement found in 1 Timothy 6:14 states that the love of money is the root of all evil(I assume this is where the saying came from). Money isn't all that evil. When you come down to it they're just pieces of metal or paper. It's when you love money that evil becomes involved. If I had a million dollars, I'd probably buy somethings that I wanted, give some to my family, and stick the rest in the bank.

"Money is the root of all evil" - says some Stoics, especially when you do not have. Just like everything else in excess, money can become a factor in the corruption of character, a substitute of moral power. Many people are content to accumulate money. Perhaps money is not able to take the place of character, but neither is a prerequisite for evil. And a man without money can be as vicious and malevolent as the rich one.
