Being far from your country

Hi, i have moved to spain a few years ago (my husband was born here), i really didnt imagine how much i would miss my homeland, sometimes (like tonight) i get sad, its not that i dont like it here. Its hard to explain. Are there any other people here in my situation? Just curious.

There is no place like home! I, too, moved far away from my home country and family. I know how you feel. There will always be part of me that will miss everything there. And there are times I wish I would be there. I have been living her now for 12 years. I have a family of my own now, and this is my home now. In the beginning it was very hard and I was homesick a lot. Now it has become easier, but I know it will never completely go away. At least I can go back to visit;)
