Yes, I love traveling and it is my top hobby. Most of all I like traveling to tropical islands with white sand and gently waving palm trees. I like to meet the local people, watch the native wildlife, see some lovely scenery and have a bit of an adventure. I adore snorkeling around a colorful reef with the friendly fish. I also enjoy exploring in a city and looking at the attractive architecture. I love to take photos from a scenic view point. I like walking in the countryside and walking up a mountain. I am an independent traveler and typically I fly somewhere on a plane and then I explore a region by train and bus. I like to stay in locally owned guest houses, thatched beach huts and tree houses. I travel overseas as often as I have to money and spare time available. My longest trip lasted just over year, that was when I was 20 and I went around the world. This year I got two weeks away taking my toddler son to Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. We explored interesting cities, went to the countryside, visited a castle, looked at some of the beaches and had a walk in the forest. Yesterday we got up early and went on a day out to a town we haven't been to before. We got a bus to a pretty bay, a castle and a historic pier. We had such a lovely time and the weather was reasonably sunny.
