Why do teenagers like horror stories/ movies?

I noticed that my 3rd year high school students like horror stories and movies, and they like black. I find it a little weird. Why do you think teenagers like horror stories/ movies?

I am sorry I do not know! Although I am a teenager! I do not like horror stories and movies! I afraid them!

Not all teenagers like scary movies. I knew some that didn't. And I am not a teenager and I love scary movies. As does my mom who is in her 50's.

lol .... dont know why teenagers like horror movies .... i also like horror movie but my age is 32

Your thoughts are wired.lol I am not a teenager & i also like horror movies. I think they like it because it has more excitements than other movies.
