I love to write--I believe that hand written notes, letters, etc. are more personal when written as opposed to typed/e-mailed!!
I love writing so much that I write mostly everything--Before I post a comment or start a discussion, I write it in my trusty steno pad, then and only then will it be entered into the computer and proof-read (although I gotta tell you my friends, I still end up with some (OOPS) errors :-(
I think more care is taken in the written word and more feeling is conveyed. I guess I'm just old fashioned @55 :-)
What about myLotters, how do you feel about writing vs typing?
At work and for the community in general I translate letters, forms, websites, etc, and I always, always do exactly the same thing--write, write, and write some more, then type, proof, send!
I must have some form of OCD...LOL

I'm pretty old fashioned too. I have dozens of notebooks that I have filled up with writing. 
For me, the words seem to flow better when I take up a pen to write than when I sit down at a computer screen. Besides, I started our writing...in my backyard cherry tree with a pen and notebook...when I was a wee child.
