Is swimming related to maintain good health?

according to me ya off course swimming helps us out in maintaining a good health. it keeps our body fit and fine and also helps us out in proper digestion of food. it also helps us in increasing the height of a person by making the body flexible. swimming increases our appetite also. i have given my ideas about swimming if any one thinks any other points regarding its merits and demerits please discuss.

It depends. Usually it will do good to our health. But swimming will consume us a lot of energy. So we should eat a lot of nutritious food to make up for the energy comsumption. If you swim often and have nutritious food at the same time. Swimming will build you body and keep you in good shape.

I love swimming , somebody say that swimming can lose your weight ,hahahaha... I don' think so ,but ,if you swim 3 days or 4 days a week ,then, your body will more and more healthy and stronger,hehehe...

OK let me clear you one thing I think you are little bit confused yea off course swimming does help in reducing body weight and simultaneously it do increase our body stamina which keeps our organs to be physically more strong and fit

Swimming is an excellent activity for overall health. It is great for people with bad backs or disabilities; can help to increase lung capacity so can be beneficial for asthmatics; and most importantly, once you have the basics covered pretty much anyone of any age can do it! The buoyancy we have in water also places far less stress on our joints, bones and muscles so rthe risk of injury is far smaller when swimming compared with other exercises like jogging etc. Swimming can also be used very effectively to improve existing injuries from other sports and exercises and also for rehabilitation.

Welcome to My Lot. I think that swimming is a very healthy activity that can be enjoyed by any age of person. Babies and young children begin with arm bands until they have learned how to swim. Retired people can swim slowly and the movement may help supple their aching joints. Swimming for a person in their twenties to forties is good for building stamina. Ladies that heavily pregnant can feel very relaxed and mobile in a swimming pool. Swimming is a pool is great to do in getting ready to go snorkeling in the ocean. Swimming with tides can be quite demanding and lead to a great level of fitness. It is important that each swimmer does not take on more than they are ready for.

thank you for your nice tips on swimming but one thing i want to know that are pregnant woman allowed to do swimming i mean will it have some advantages or disadvantages?

I think swimming is great for good health. I always feel great after I swim for about half hour or more. I think it helps my legs and my core muscles. I do like to start out with some yoga, then swim then do more yoga.

swimming is a very good sort of exercise. all your body parts are exercised every tine you swim. it also strengthen our lungs and it boosts our stamina.

Swimming is supposed to be a complete exercise for the body. Swimming is also good for relieving stress and bring good sleep. It is the best exercise for a pregnant women.

I have read some books about swimming in these weeks.I would like to tell you that it is good that pregnant woman swimming.It will good to her body and hers baby too.Pregnant woman can swim in water because in the water they will not fell heavy.Swimming also good to asthma people.People who have asthma can also swimming. It will not happen anything to the asthma people.Before swimming, we must also need to do warm up exercise or we will easily be drown in the swimming pool when we are swimming.
