What is your favorite machine to work out on?

Hey everyone! I work out about 3-4 times a week at our local YMCA and I mainly love to work out on the Eliptical. It's the one I favor most out of all the work out machines there. I don't know if it's beacuse it seems like the funnest one there or even the easiest, but our eliptical machines also have TVs attatched to them. LOL Which makes it a lot easier to work out when you are watching your favorite shows. I also notice that the same people tend to get on the same machines each time they go.
I want to know what work out machine is your favorite and Why?

I have changed my membership, as of yesterday, from the YMCA to another local athletic club because my new health insurance is paying for the dues at this other place.
Thus far, I really like working out on the recumbant bike. But, this favorite might change as I try out their other machines.

Wow that is great that your health insurance is paying the dues at the athletic club!! We have one of those here locally too. How is the athletic club compared to the YMCA? I mainly use the YMCA because it's very family oriented with a pool and playground, Not to mention the child care they provide while I exercise. I wish that our health insurance covered our membership!

The place where I am now going has two locations in this city, and I usually go to the closer one unless I want to use the swimming pool. For the pool I have to go to the other location. They have a lot of the same and similar machines as the one at the YMCA. Also, they have air conditioning, something that the Y here does not have, and it gets hot and humid in the summer and so that is a must. I can't very well get in much of a workout when the place is hot. And, the place I have just changed to, has television sets to watch while working out on the boring treadmills. And, I love the fact that I get the membership there free with my insurance. I wish all health insurance companies did that.

Oh my...No air conditioning?? Whew, yes everywhere has to have air conditioning here in FL where I live. That is a MAJOR plus! lol

wow!!! never use machine actually, i just love to walk in the seaside area 2 time a week with my friends also with my daughter.

That sounds very peaceful and fun to walk seaside with your daughter! We have a local park with a big lake that I used to walk around with my husband, but once we had kids, we realized it really was too long to walk around because they would either need a diaper change half way through or get really whiney.
