I had a beautiful cat, her name was Nahana. she looked like a little tiger, so much personality. but she didn´t like to be grabbed, and only petted on her terms. horribly spoiled. but she´s the best. I had to give her up cause I moved and couldn´t take her with me. Now I have two dogs, the previous owner of my house left them and so I adopted them. Two females, they love to cuddle, and they´re so jealouse. I can´t pet one without the other throwing herself on me. a beautiful bloodhound and another that I don´t know what she is, but she´s adorable. I love all animals, except snakes, they freak me out. anyway, I still miss my cat. I´d like a kitten, so I can spoil it rotten. I love you Nahana!!

Hi, I also have a 15 years old cat, who has never allow me to pet her, just until a couple of months ago, When my Gorgeous Gipsy of 21 years past away (Feb/14) she felt our pain in a way that she try to confort us, my husband and I. She has always been so Wild, and nervous (she was adopted) contrary to Gipsy who was bought as a kitten a beautiful pure breed seal point siamese, who traveled with us where ever we went. We live in Dominican Republic but we own a house at Miami, and we travel a lot! Spottie always stayed home, I have someone who takes care of her. We are planning on staying longer at our Miami Home, so definitely I will take Spottie with us, NO MATTER HOW COMPLICATED MAY BE. Do you know who has Nahana now? Is there a way to Know if Nahana is doing OK? Because, knowing how she is doing my help your sadness.

Hey eztuner. my cat was the same way, but animals have a special way of knowing when you´re not feeling well cause they do come around in those times of sadness. I do communicate with the couple who we left her with. Different countries have different policies on animals and at this point in my life with everything we had to do before we left, I really couldn´t afford to take care of all I had to do. Pluse she was really skeptical of everything. I do miss her though, but now she´s in Georgia with a great couple with other cats and a yard, which I´m sure she´s loving. She was cute when she tried to hunt. lol!

Great! At least you know she is well, then, you did a Good job providing her with a loving family. Good for you! Try to get a young Kitten two or three months old, you'll see what a great experience it is. Good luck!

I have two kittens. One of them is alot like your precous Nahana was. She only likes to be petted on her terms she does not like to be picked up but will jump up into your lap. I could never give her up. She is grey and black tiger stripped kitty and she walks aroudn on the prowl like a tiger does.
