We have built up an energy intensive society such that the hundreds of daily acts are dependent on having energy at our ready command. Most of the energy that comes from the fossil fuels. yet, within two centuries we will have used up all of the fossil fuels that has been built up over millions of years of earths time. Furthermore, the extraction and consumption of fossil fuels is a major polluter of our environment. Our appetite for energy is seemingly insatiable. WE SHOULD SAVE OUR MOTHER EARTH.

I build solar panels for a living so I'm doing my part lol. I agree with you, which is one of the reasons why I chose the profession I am in now. If we all do a little bit, a lot can be accomplished. Use energy saving lightbulbs, turn the thermostat on your heat down a couple of degrees and don't take needless trips with the car and walk instead if you can. Cut down on paper usage by paying your bills electronically. There is a lot everybody can do to help.
