Has MyLot added Spell Check or is it my computer? The last couple of weeks I have been getting spelling errors underlined and when I right click on them I get spelling choices like on my Work program. if this is a new app on MyLot how long has it been here and why hasn't it been advertised?

It's most likely your internet browser. Any type of browser you download will most likely have this function.

You know I have been using Microsoft Internet Explorer ever since I owned a computer for about 13 years and it has never done this. But I just started using FireFox a few weeks ago, so you're right, that is it! Thank you very much.

Happy to help! Don't you just love FireFox? It's so much more functional than Internet Explorer,

Actually I don't know much about it. What else can it do? My son downloaded it and I just started using it for a change from MIE. Thanks again Kosstr.

You're right, that's it! I just started using FireFox a few weeks ago and I never had spell check with the MIE browser. Thanks for your reply and your help.

No wonder you have 11782 posts! Dear Subha, If anyone knows this you should. we are supposed to read all the replies in a discussion before responding so we don't repeat things that have already been said. But, don't feel too bad, this seems to be the most common error here on MyLot. I guess its their fault for sending us the discussion in our e-mail and then opening a window and letting us write our response. LOL!

Wow! I was able to use my first emote icom. But, I didn't get any credit for all the responses I made yesterday to two different discussions. Bummer.

I bet it's your internet browser. I have Firefox and luckily it has this feature. I don't know what my posts would look like if I didn't have it, lol. I type really fast and sometimes I don't go over what I've already written. And seeing the little red lines helps me out a lot. So no it's not a Mylot thing. That would be a great addition in the future though.

Hi 4aps. thanks for your response. I think most of the suggestions above have the answer and it is FireFox. It can not be my computer because I have had it for over three years and the spell check fust appeared in the last few weeks.

Hi briwisn, Frankly I haven't notice any thing new that has happened and it hasen't nothing to my spelling as I'm still miss spelling so it just might be your computer. Tamara

Thanks for the response Tamara. As you can see in the replies above the mystry is over. it is the new browser I am using. FireFox. Until now, I never knew a browser could do that. I just tried using an emoticon and it wouldn't let me. I'm upset.

Firefox has the spell checker built in. I think you can get spell checker for IE, but it is an additional download.
