BB food contest this week....crickets, pigs ears, slop...and the HG's had to eat whatever it was they picked in the game. Based on Rock, Paper, Scissors....I don't remember what beat what....but based on if you won that round or not, you had to eat whatever it was you picked. I saw Dan and Michelle eat crickets, Jerry eat slop, and April eat pigs ears. I don't know what I missed...that was bad enough. So how far would you go in a game like this to win the big prize and to win food for your team? If you don't follow through and eat what you are supposed to eat, your team loses....you become a target. What would you eat to win the prize? What would you refuse? Were the pigs ears cooked or raw? If they were cooked, I would have had to choose that for each round. But if they were raw...what about the risks of all the diseases and parasites you can get from raw pork? I can't even step on a cricket unless I have to...can't stand the crunch....no way would I eat it.

I couldn't tell if the pigs ears were cooked or not. They were very little though, so maybe easier to eat then the crickets! I was surprised that Jerry had a hard time eating the slop since he has been on it for weeks. I would think that would have been easier for him to get down. Michelle said she always eats pig ears. She ate crickets first and then the pig ears the next time around. I was impressed with April by her eating the pig ears too. She said she hasn't eaten pork in 13 yrs and she did it for the team. I think that the houseguests know there is usually a disgusting food competition where they have to eat something gross, so they actually go in the game expecting it. I could never eat crickets! I would have picked the pig ears too.

I am not sure I heard it right, but I thought just before Jerry started eating the slop that someone said it had been sitting awhile, stewing or whatever....which probably meant it was nastier than normal slop. It would have scared me. But I know the network has to keep things safe for liability purposes, so probably it was fermented just as far as it could be without being spoiled.

That is just way too gross for me. Yuck! No way would I even enter any of those kinds of competitions. Well, I couldn't do any of the BB contests except the mental ones. Hmmmm....maybe it is time for some reality shows specifically for the disabled?

That kind of contest would just do me in. I am one of the pickiest eaters. I probably would have done what Keesha did and be the server. I don't know how they do it because I guess people will do whatever they can so they can eat and have a chance for the money. My brother would be great at it. He'll eat anything! LMAO

The slop would be about all I could eat without gagging and throwing the food up. I have too bad of a gag reflex and those crickets and the pig ears would have thrown me way off so, slop would have been about all I could handle. That whole eating gross things thing is something that would screw me up every time. LOL!

The top was slop and the pig ears trumped the slop. The crickets trumped pig ears and slop trumped the crickets I beleive it went. I probably would eat crickets and pig ears. I have no problem with trying new things at all. However I have never ate a cricket but I did try a pig ear once. Can't say I remember what it tasted like either. It was such a long time ago. You never missed anything on the food comp there. That was basically it. I was actually really surprised that April ate the pigs ear as her being a veggie for 13 years could play a big toll on her system. But she does already have a target on her back because of her attitude and she would of been a bigger target if she didn't do it. Did you see her face before she did it? HAHA! That was classic. I don't know if they were cooked or not. But they did look raw and I would imagine that they were.
