How do i drive more traffic to blog

I have created my blog for some time and i dont see much visitors to my page. I know that cause i have a hit counter.
I have some adsense ads on my blog so i also can earn something to cover my costs, since i pay for my internet according to how much i use.
Also please advise me on how to increase my adsense revenue.

I have a blog, too, am also struggling for traffic. I have done several ways that I have read from some other blogs to increase traffic and somehow, it helps. Try submitting your blog to directories, social networks, and to feedburner. It helps. I have a blog which started last July and I only get minimal traffic to it, but after joining some social networks, I have been getting quite a number of hits everyday!
