I Like This story, When Ibrahim "the son of the Prophet" Died, and There was an eclipse of the sun on that day, and the people said that This eclipse is because of the death of Ibrahim the son of Muhammad PBUH, But The Prophet Muhammad Clarified to Them, and said: "The sun and the moon are two of the signs of Allah, they do not become eclipsed for the death or life of anyone." Because People thought that it is a Miracle or something like that, So The prophet Muhammad had to Clarify for them. The Entire Hadith in Translation of Sahih Bukhari Volume 2, Book 18, Number 168: Narrated Al-Mughira bin Shu'ba : On the day of Ibrahim's death, the sun eclipsed and the people said that the eclipse was due to the death of Ibrahim (the son of the Prophet). Allah's Apostle said, "The sun and the moon are two signs amongst the signs of Allah. They do not eclipse because of someone's death or life. So when you see them, invoke Allah and pray till the eclipse is clear." Yes, Gordano, this and many other incidents of the life of the Prophet does make me thing (me a Hindu) that indeed Islam and the Prophet are much misunderstood the world over today and sadly, the muslim community is doing little to change that. All kinds of miracles and superstitious beliefs are banned in Islam yet the Muslims are considered one the most backward and illiterate community today. It is my firm belief that had Prophet Muhammad been alive today, he would not have tolerated the many bogus and outdated beliefs which Muslims cling on to today.
