Lucky Numbers =)

Are you from Thailand? I just visited Bangkok this year and though I didn't really like the place, it is a real bargain for tourist to buy the things that they want. Lol, it seems that the lottery system runs very differently from Singapore. Over here, we have 45 numbers to choose from (1-45) and we have the option to buy 6-12 numbers. Of course, it gets more expensive as more numbers is bought. 1 set of numbers consisting of 6 numbers cost $0.50 1 set of numbers consisting of 7 numbers cost $3.50 I can't really remember the rest as I don't go beyond 7 numbers. Lol. But I remember clearly the set of numbers consisting of 12 numbers would set one back by $250. That's quite a lot of money to bet in a single draw. And it is not guaranteed that you will strike. Your wife is so lucky. I sure wish I have her luck. Lol, anyway, I wish her and you all the best of luck for the next lottery draw over in Thailand!

Well thank you for that, I think the lotto numbers you have is the same as in the UK, and Europe, you choose up to 6 from 49, and then the winning 6 numbers are drawn, Thailand is very different, its all based on a ticket with the 6 numbers already printed, if your numbers are in order of the drawn numbers you win, for example drawn numbers are 246891, and you have chosen 6891, or 891 or 91, you win, but of curse all this is underground, you can't pick the numbers from the state lotto, if that makes any sense to you, your very clever LOL, sorry you did not like Bangkok, I must say its not the best city in the world.

Hehe, it was just that I am not much of a city person, and the traffic is really terrible over at Bangkok! Lol, I don't even like my country much, even though it is supposedly worldclass ::shrugs:: I agree with you on that. Majority of Singapore system (including its law, rules & regulations) are mostly based on the UK system. I think SIngapore had only not adopted the welfare system. Hmm, I think I got what you mean on the 6 numbers already printed on a ticket. We too, have that here and it is called the sweepstakes which is held monthly. If I am not wrong, for us, there are 10 numbers already printed on the ticket and if the numbers were to match with what is drawn, you would win millions of dollars! (depends on the rollover of jackpot). I guess different countries have their own system, and each has its own pros and cons. Thanks for sharing Thailand's system with me! Lol, missed! Sunday's draw was 1725 top prize, Wednesday was 5172 top prize. Didn't buy it as I thought that I missed it on Sunday, and it would not reopen the same numbers so fast! Arghh! And guess what it did!

Thanks for sharing your lucky numbers with me. I would play them for the next Toto draw on Thursday (which is tomorrow) Wish me all the luck!! The number 5 had been quite a lucky number in our weekly draw for 4D (held every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday). This numbers seems to turn up every now and then. However, there is 1000 combinations to be bought which does not really seem to be a wise investment strategy. Lol. What about you? Have you ever struck lottery before? Where are you from?
