I was thinking the other night, "I wonder how much money people have made from MyLot." Then a thought came to my head, MyLot High scores! They could be separated into sections of Highest Daily Average, Highest Total Earnings, and Highest Post Count. I think it would really help MyLot appeal to newcomers, and would add a sense of competition to the community. Tell me what you think! Luke

I'm not sure this would be a good idea. Whilst lots, if not all, are here to make money, the community itself has become just as, if not more, important than that. I came here to make money and have actually been completely overcome by the enjoyment of having discussions with so many different people from many walks of life. Some of the things I have had a chance to discuss here would never some up in conversation with people I know and mylot is teaching me a lot, especially about other people and their beliefs and views. I think that if we had high scores it would result in people just trying to get their earnings and post numbers up for the sake of it, rather than having meaningful discussions with other members.

I see where you're coming from. I too enjoy having discussions with everyone, and making new friends. Let me put it like this, They come for the money, They stay for the friends. I think if we had high scores, new users could see how profitable talking to their friends actually is. Luke

Well, the problem with this, is that the Earnings seem to change over time, and some people may not want their Earnings shown before everyone else as well. Then you would also make it not Fair if the person is no longer Active, or Banned in here as well. And just because I am just over 7,600 posts myself, I am sure there are others who are in here that have made more than me. I do usually make payout each month with no problem though which is nice. Welcome to myLot, and wishing you the best.
