What is your favorite Evanescence song and why? My favorite song is their first single, "Going Under". That song explains everything that I feel after have tried everything for love. I gave up on love, of course. That song is like when the love is gone, you are going under into a deep depression. That's my opinion of the song.

I like how Amy Lee sings and love a varied genre of rock such as this group. The solitude rhythm inside Amy carries the song so well that one would really listen to. Of all their songs I listen most to My Immortal, Tourniquet and Bring Me To Life.

'Going Under' is not their first song. Their first songs were 'Solitude' and 'Give Unto Me' recorded in 1997 and released in 1998 under their Evanescence EP album.

I only ever liked one Evanescence song and that was the one featured on the movie 'The Dare Devil'. I can't recall the name of the song right now though. She's a little too depressing in my opinion.

The name of that song is "Bring Me to Life". I admit that she sings in a depressing matter, but it is what makes her stand out against other women rockers. She also has this opera-inspired voice that it totally original.

the song "you" is my favorite. it's as if everything around me is 'peaceful' when I'm listening to that song. i don't even consider it as one of those sad songs.

i love their song "my immortal" because i really can relate to it. i had a boyfriend before whom i loved so much and i was very willing to give everything to him, i know i was not perfect but i know i had been enough for him, but no matter what i do, even though he always say that he loves me "i still feel so alone". i listened to his fears, i had helped him on his weaknesses, i was always there for him but i still cannot break the wall between us, until i found out that he has been secrets from me, he has so many lies.

I love Evanescence!
Its hard to choose just one but I like 'Bring me to life', 'Call me when you're sober', 'Going under' and 'Sweet sacrifice'
