Do you feed birds?

I have always seen my mother feeding birds. Early morning she would scatter seeds, grains in the balcony and many birds would fly in to peck them. It was fun watching them all together. If she would be even a minute late any day they would sit on the balcony and start screaming for food. Surprisingly whenever she would be sick and would not be able to feed them they would come but not scream. They would just sit on the balcony railing and fly away. When I asked her why she fed birds she told me that it was a way to thank God for being kind to us. Now I am married and away from my mother and miss seeing her feed the birds.

Dear friend, I used to feed crows and pigeons and I like it more during my childhood days and even now I feed pigeons and I could take in hand if any come so closer and later I just leave it back. Crows are abundant during the day time and whenever I wanted to feed it they are all there. But pigeons come near if they are much tamed only. But if they start having food they are many and many.

Every morning , after our prayers before going to work .. me and my husband take turns feeding bird .. we spend more than $200 for buying bread. This birds did not like to eat seeds. When we see down from our apartment window .. actually is a roof for the car park.. we will cut or shred the bread and throw there. The days we are not home , we normally will buy bread and give to our neighbour to help ... The birds are smart on Sundays when we want to get up late ... they will be flying a few times ... and sit at the balcony making noises. they also will wait on the roof until they see our car gone ... i actually spied on them, when my husband drove off ... we have been dooing this for past 5 years There are 5 types of bird now on the roof .. sometimes little yellow tweety bird look alike also visits us ...

Birds are very intelligent. They know if we are home and when we can feed them.

It is a exciting experience that the wild bird will come regularly every day. They may sing around every day or even make nestle nearby. I believe you mother is kind and is forward to help others. Some of her happiness come from other's happiness. The cute birds will bring great happiness to you mother.
