In hot summer,hot or "ice" water would you like ?

I prefer cold water, as it seems to quench the thirst faster, if I drink warm or lukewarm water I may drink several cups of water and always feel thirsty actually I seem to get thirstier whereas if I drink cool water or drinks then I seem to get satisfied faster. The problem is if the water is too cold as it can be dangerous and cause indisposure a friend of mine had a really cold drink on a very hot day after he had been moving around and had to go to the doctor as he felt really sick. My favourite though is some ice tea as it is the best for hot summer days. That is just me though.
