I was on mylot today responding to various discussions and my little boy was playing next to me. He got a huge piece of thermocol (used for packing)from the television box and asked me if he could play with it. I thought what a harmless piece of thermocol could do and agreed. After an hour I realized that my room was full of tiny small pieces of white thermocol. They were all over the floor, flying everywhere and it was a complete mess. I was very angry at my boy but before I could say a word he happily jumped and said, Mamma look snow. Come play with me in this snow. All my anger vanished in a jiffy and I also jumped to play with him. We don't get snow here so at least he could play with thermocol assuming it to be snow made me happy. Have you ever been happy with some mess made by your kid.

That is so funny! I have a 2 year old that watches everything I do throughout the day and she mocks what I say. One day I told her that I was very busy and that I had to clean up and I went through the list of things that I had to do, some of which included making the bed, washing my dishes and Vacuuming. Well, While I was making the bed I guess My little girl had skipped right to number 2 on my list and when I walked into the kitchen, She was pouring my entire box of dishwashing powder into my dishwasher. There was a HUGE mess of little sand-like particals everywhere and of course my first reaction was to totally freak out, but when she noticed I was behind her, she turned around to look at me, she gave me a thumbs up and said "See! I help Mommy clean!" It was so darn sweet, so I just embraced her and told her what a big help she is and that next time she needed to ask me first. LOL Kids are so innocently distructive! lol

That is so cute! I can't think of any time that I've been happy about a mess my kids have made! But if they had done something cute like that I probably would have thought it was funny too. But I bet cleaning that stuff up was a pain lol.

Clearing up the mess was difficult as those particles would keep flying away. But this memory will always bring a smile on my face.
