I am very much sure that this song clearly is the most meaningful and complex song by Nirvana. I was shocked when I first discovered the story behind the song. It was based on a German novel named "Perfume", where the antagonist was born with no body-odour but in stead an unusual sense of smell. He eventually became a murderer who went on stealing smells from his female victims to create a smell for his own. That was really one of my greatest finds about them and their songs. I really think that was a brilliant idea to put all these into a song, and ever so beautifully. Where actually had you first listened the song and have you understood the meaning at your first take on the song? Happy Mylotting!
