Why Do Most School Buses Colored Yellow?

i just wonder why most school buses are painted yellow. 
well, i saw some painted in white but most of the time they're yellow or at least has a touch of yellow. if the reason for this is because it is shocking then there are also some shades that shock and reflect like fuschia pink or aqua blue. but then, yellow apparently is seen most of the time.

yellow color has been advised for all the school buses becaues according to the traffic laws ,Red color defines danger ,Yellow color defines caution,and green color defines safe. therefore when a yellow bus is in front of you you must be cautious this is the real fanda behind the Yellow color of the school bus.
