Brand new struggling actress looking for very flexible income....HELP!!

Recently, I decided to pursue acting...I know, cliche...but I really enjoy it. I am currently enrolled in classes at the Mike Lemon Casting Studio for the next 6 months...so much fun. I am also unemployed. I tried to get into these working from home businesses but they all turn out to be a drag. I thought about getting a night job but that wouldn't make me a reliable employee if I had to go away for a random amount of time to tape a movie or something...I'm certain I would be replaced. When starting out, many gigs do not pay, but I have to start somewhere. So...how do I generate income while pursuing acting? What type of job would allow me the flexibility I need, and guarantee that my position will be waiting for me when I return? Eventually I wouldn't need this job once the acting gigs pick up but for now I have to be realistic. Have any suggestions???

Register with a temp agency, you can pick and choose what jobs you take and for how long.

I appreciate your response but the length of time is not the problem...its the flexibility. Even a position thru a temp agency requires me to show up everyday at a particular time. If I have gigs that require a full day once or twice a week, I would be fired, especially since I don't have benefits. Something very flexible is what I need. Thank you anyway.
