Do adverts really sell us things??

i think they do, as i would never have brought the oero biscuits but hte advert of the little boy and his glass of milk and his dog realy sold it to me that i went and brought some. haven't brought any since as i personally didn't rate them as much, and my personal view is i don't think they would have sold without that advert. Its a real fab advert and well done to the people who came up with it.
