Dandy In The Underworld

I've just today finished reading Sebastian Horseley's autobiography, A Dandy In The Underworld, and I was wondering if anyone else has read it and would like to discuss anything about it? [This might be one for the UKers on the site] At first I found him to be very cutting and ironic about almost everything, and was disinclined to like him until I started to feel as I got further into the book that he was using this as a mechanism to talk about subjects that were in fact quite intimate and meaningful. Anybody else find this? Or did you just think he was overdosing a little on wit?
