does anyone have a daughter with special needs?

My daughter who is 9 has saethre-chotzen syndrome and is mildly mentally disabled. i am looking for any tips techneics to help her cope with school, please help any idea's or suggestions would be greatly apperciated. thanks

I have a 7 year old daughter with autism. We focus on what she's good at. She loves to draw and plays the violin. She also scored in the 97th%ile on her first grade standardized testing, and because of all of this, she doesn't get any services at school.
What kind of problems are you having with school?

we are having problems with hurt feeling's being picked on and no friends. math is a nightmare. i do have to say she is learing to read and write alot better. she tries so hard everynight with homework she is a little trooper.
