When you are going to have a trip, would you like to travel alone or travel with some friends? In my opinion, I would rather go alone. The first shortcoming of traveling with companions results from the fact that travel is a process of constant decision-making. Sometimes we even couldn't agree with each other on what to see first. The second one lies in the difficulties we encounter during the travel. Sometimes it's very difficult to book tickets or rooms for many people. When I travel alone, this problem can be easily solved. But there are advantages in traveling with some friends. To travel with friends, you feel safer, and your life becomes easier. With the company of your friends, you won't feel lonely during the long and tedious journey.

In my opinion, i would like to travel with my closest friends. Why i tell you this, is because that if we are travel alone , something that happen suddenly you get someone helps to you, if got some friends with me i will feel that my trip is a funny trip because we can share many things and learn many things on the trip. On the trip we can also have a relationship to our friends to make our relationship more closer.

I'd like to have some friends with me when i travel. Especially when your going the distance, so to speak. If someone gets tired the other can drive, sort of like a shift system, expenses can be split, and just because i don't like being alone. I like having someone to talk to and accompany me..on long travels.

Its just a matter of fact that you can't be one man army or woman. Travelling alone sure will remove many of your problems as you mentioned them but will increase some extra problems for you. You will alone all along your travelling experience, who know you get ill then what. No one will be there to take care of. It can even get worse, I think you know what I mean so its best if you travel with your friends.

I feel pretty much like you. I would rather go alone then with a bunch of friends, but it also depends on where you are going and on what you want to do. If you only travel for the sun it's much nicer go to with friends and if you travel for experience and culture it's much easier to go by your self.

I never had any trips with my friends (sad isnt it? i hope i will) or many trips at all. Harder thing is disability i have with walking, muscylar distrofy so i cant walk on my own, i must have someone or something to hold onto. But anyway for ur question- i wouldnt like to travel alone. Ever. Not because of my disability or anything. Even if i dont have it i wouldnt ever want to go on trip all by myself. Why to see and do all interesting things if ur gonna do in on urself? Sounds boring, very. In perfect world, i would want 3 friends to go and expirince things with me

Most of all I love the freedom of the traveling to different countries alone. These days I travel with my toddler son and this means that I have to take much luggage for him but because he is an infant he doesn't have a baggage allowance on the plane. He isn't old enough to discuss where he wishes to go or which activities he would like to do. When I travel on my own I can choose which airport I fly to and then sort out a route around a region. I can stay in exactly the accommodation that I like most of all. This would be a tree house, a beach hut or a guest house. I can explore at the pace I choose, get up early in the morning to go out exploring and go to bed when I am tired. I can do self catering after visiting local supermarkets. If I traveled with my friends they would want to go to just one destination like a beach. By comparison I would like a few days by the beach, a couple of days in the capital city, a few days on an island and a couple of days in a small town. They would just want to laze around but I would like to have an adventure. I find it interesting to talk to the local people and find out about their culture. My friends would prefer to relax in the beach and go swimming in the sea. I did travel with my ex-boyfriend but he wanted to stay in luxury accommodation and I wanted to stay in budget accommodation. He was sacred of the insects and so we had to choose somewhere to stay. It was expensive in the Seychelles and we nearly ran out of money. In Turkey he thought that the accommodation looked unstable and he moaned a great deal about a beach hut we stayed in. We ended up going to stay in a hotel in the city. When we got back to Istanbul he checked us into a luxury hotel. When he and I split up I went back to my own style of traveling.

i gone travelling with my partner and friends. i think i'd only go on trips with friends to places i've been to. just went on a trip with some friends to a place i've been often. good thing is it's fun doing things with many people. i enjoyed myself thoroughly on this trip. the trip is more of a holiday than travelling so it's pretty good. however, if i were to go to a place i've never been before, i think i'd prefer travelling with my partner only. not many people have the same taste for places to visit. i like to get lost occasionally as it will allow me to see things i didn't plan on seeing. as for travelling alone, i don't think i'll ever try that. it's not easy to be in a strange place on myself. no one to share in the excitement of seeing new things. cheers ;p

Hi heroinelover, actually i'm ok to travel alone and travel with friends. So far i did not have a chance to travel alone as my safety always is my main concern. Maybe i will consider to arrange one trip for myself which i will travel alone. I'm agree with you, sometimes it is really troublesome to travel with a gang f friends. The main issue will be the different opinion from each other. I also encountered an issue when i organise the trip: most of the people will only confirm you last minutes and some of them even can't make up their mind to decide whether they want to join for the trip or not.

I like to have some one along with me. Just 1 or 2. Never more than that. Too many people causes many problems. When I am travelling I like to be comfortable and too many people means less comfort
