Do you worry about things that may never happen?

I do, but not as much as i used to. its strange because if you sometimes worry about somethnig, if it then happens it doesn't always seem to be so bad if it happens. has that happened to you?

I'm a worrier, I worry about every single aspect of my life, however small it may be. It sucks but I got used to it, there are days where I try not to worry so much, but it doesn't always work.

Yes I do a lot more than I should, sometimes my mind wonders off on a tangent and it goes through so many scenarios that I sometimes wonder what my head thinks it is doing. I am not so bad these days and tend to stop myself doing it before I start, my brain needs to be kept busy I think.

Yeah. I'm a worrier too. I get anxiety for things with unreasonable reasons. It's really a bad thing though.

I worry about things that may never happen all the time. My husband tells me I worry too much. He says dont worry about it until it happens and then you can worry. Easy for him to say. lol.

Yes I do sometimes but I'm trying to give up. The best thing to reduce worrying is to convince myself that the thing I am worrying about is not happening yet so why should I worry? The other thing is I always try to remember worrying is not good for my health because it increases the level of the cortisol in the body which have a bad effect for the long term, once I remember that my brain forces me to kick off the bad idea and conecentrate on the good one. That really helped me.

why worry when you can pray. everyone has issues and do worry about it at times but rememeber life goes on and rememeber that "No matter what you are going thru someone out there as it worst than u.

I have a very bad mind in this regard I guess. Whether something is going to happen or not, I start thinking over and over the same. Sometimes I feel my forehead is getting a little warm because of my bad habit of thinking too much. Same is the case if I get worried or someone says something. I start thinking and thinking. I guess it a problem with me which I am trying alot to overcome but no successful yet.

No, I've never been a worrier. If I do ponder the things that might happen, I choose to think about the good things rather than that bad. So many people spend their days (and nights) worrying about things that will most likely never happen, instead of living and experiencing what's actually happening NOW. It doesn't make any sense to me.

This is like day dreaming. These can be good or bad also. I you have optimistic you will think positive which need no worry. You have the negative thinking you can think worse things to happen. Pessimistic people think and are always worried about.

yes ,i have the same trouble as you .it has puzzled me for a long time and make me depressible sometimes.though most of things are not bad as i have imaged, but i can't keep thinking that, maybe i am not confident, maybe i am so close, but it is not easy to change,i do like to keep optimistical,i am trying.
