What's the best time to workout?

I work at night, so i usually do my workout in the morning after my shift. That gets me so exhausted i really think a 5-hr sleep is not enough to get me going to another night. Somehow i already got the hang of it. Ive read that the best time to workout is the noncommital, "Whatever works for you,as long as you do it consistently", do you agree?

I love workout right before bed. I started a summer walking club in my neighborhood on Saturday mornings at 7:45am but not many get out that early which is late to me and already too hot for walking. I really don't like walking, I prefer to jog.

I like to work out during the night before I go to sleep. I don't like to do it in the morning because I am so stiff. Everyone says that working out in the morning is better cuzit loosens you up, but I hate to. I don't think that it really matters what time just as long as you do it.
