I have always went to a full gospel chruch; thow it's been a while, but latly I've been tring to get back in chruch but it seem to me that there is just no heat in the preahers any more, they just seem luke warm. What happen to the good ole holy ghost preahers full of fire, and brim-stone. I remember going to the old tent meetings and being scared to leave with out going to the altar and make sure I was right with God before I left because the praecher had me believing god was coming bfore the next day. I miss them old time preachers, they knew how to put the fear of God into your heart. Now a days you can find a chruch that will tell you, you are right with God no matter how you are living. If you are gay you can find a chruch that will tell you it Okay, no matter what kind of life you want to live you can find a church that will tell you it okay. but to the preachers of those churchs remember the shepherd is responsible for their sheep.

I've noticed this too.. I think you shouldn't give up im sure theres a church out for you that still holds the same values as you were taught. I honestly think the reason why preachers aren't as powerful with their message and make you scared for not going out to the altar is because some people dont like that. They are very hesitant to call on the holy spirit and theyr not willing to open up it And since people are not going to like that preachers refrain from giving them the whole fire of the spirit. THey think if people dont show up at church theres no money for the church..thats my honest opinion and I have heard it from several preachers. The church im currently attending has an old school kind of pastor the type that does look after his sheep..He will tell you youre doing something wrong and help you get right with God.So please dont give up keep looking for a church that suits your spiritual needs :]

It's there! I don't think you can look for it in anyone preacher. I go expecting to hear from God. I find that "fire" in the word, song and prayer. I do know what you are talking about. Sometimes you want that good old down home preaching, but you really have to seek out those Pastor's who truly have the anointing of God to hear and feel that fire.
