i am a nurse, grown by a nurse (my late mother was also RN)with 3 siblings who are also nurses. this profession is our vocation, our passion. being one makes a person really feel blessed! as my dear mentor once shared, the only person who will first witness the start of a new life (birth of a baby) and the person's last breath is none other but a nurse. being a nurse entails a lot of responsibilities that are quite tough. we assist along the process of a laboring mother, we stand as coach, as comforter during her struggles. in a dying patient, nurses happen to be the patient's companion while gasping for breath till the moment the doctor pronounce the time of death. nurses are said to be the ones who give the first and last bath of man.

Hey there! I'm also a nurse, actually have just been registered as one after passing the December board exam last year. There's nothing more fulfilling than being able to care for other people. It's kinda tiresome but the fulfillment that I get, when a certain person thanked me just because of the small things I did for them,is irreplaceable. =)

Nurse are blessed beings. They have been given much and much is expected of them. I think it is an honorable profession indeed. I went off to college with a plan to major in nursing, but ended up with a degree in business. I have at many times wondered about the decision I made.

Being a nurse is not easy. You should be able to have the knowledge and the skill to be able to be an effective nurse. As nurse you should bear in mind that you are dealing with people's lives. By that it is our responsibility to give our outmost care to our patient. You have to love your work as a Nurse. By helping others who are in need it makes you feel happy whenever you see your cured patients.
