Do you read every reply before you respond?

I noticed that the reason I churn out less posts than I could have is that I read every single reply before I respond. Do you skip the reading part and respond to the topic straight away to make the most of your time?

I do read before responding, I do enjoy reading others opinion before writing my own! But if theres a lot I also skip sometimes!

I read most of them, too. And if there are too many responses, I only speed read some of them before replying. And as for the post counts, I think I'm worse than you ^^ I read many discussions, but only responded some. And I do dwell on responding. Maybe it's because of my poor English or maybe I'm the kind of person who has to think before doing anything ^^

No, if I really want to make the most of my time, I don't read each reply but if something catches my eye, I rate it positively. However, if the topic is really interesting, I do take time out to read most replies.. but I don't usually go beyond the first page.

I read every post that I replied to and sometimes maybe even twice if I need to answer multiple questions. It is because I have time that I am here. Otherwise I will not answer to anything.

I read most but not maybe all. And I respond spontaneously. I don't dwell too much what to write. I just let it flow. If nothing comes up in my head I move on to the next thread. But there are days I just don't feel responding, but still read threads.

Hello curiousman, Honestly I don't unless I find that topic is really, really interesting.I always respond through my e-mail notification and once done, I will read some other responses if I have more time to spend here or if I find that the topic is really interesting to me.
