What apps did you use in ubuntu?

I new about ubuntu. I have set up my new ubuntu. I search best download manager. Which one did you think the best one? Could you tell me where can i search?

There is something called as software repository in Ubuntu.You can easily find softwares you are looking for.ApplicationsAdd/remove programs.just go to the Add/remove applications and just type download manager in the search button.you will get a number of softwares.Anyway u have to be connected to the internet
