a christian and a non-christian relationship????

my boyfriend is a born again christian and im a catholic,can this work out? he ask for a break up because of this..but we're still seeing each other and i know he loves me so much and i still love him..i don't know what to do..should it really be like this?? im not against him doing ministry or anything,actually im glad that he's active and learning alot from his church..i can't understand why we can't be?? to the christians like him out there is there any way?i mean should we really be like this???

Hey jannadavis! I think it's going to work out between you two. I think if you really love each other then both of you will be willing to make adjustments in order for your relationship to work. I'm not necessarily pertaining to changing religions. What I mean is understanding and respecting each other's beliefs. Actually, I know of a married couple with different religions. They have a 1 year old daughter now and they're happy together. Bottom line is, love doesn't discriminate. =)

thanks..but i don't know he keeps on telling me that love is'nt enough and he loves God more than he loves me..i really don't know..now he always tells me that he's waiting and i know what he means, he wants me to be like him, a born again christian..i really don't know i think i'm not yet ready to change what i believe in..

if you r really love the person then religion and cast is not matter . because one thing is common in both of u is trust . so i fill you trust each other . and solve the problem with the help of each other and show your parent that there are wrong and live life happily.

religion has nothing to do with it, you both can keep your own opinion and still love each other, irrespective of your opinion..

i dont think religion matters i think there is one god and if you love one another this will work.
