a christian and a non-christian relationship??

my boyfriend is a christian and im a catholic..can this work out? he ask for a break up because of this..but we're still seeing each other and i know he still loves me so much and i still love him..i dont know what to do..should it really be like this? im not against him doing his ministry or anything, actually, im glad that he's into those kind of things..i can't understand why we can't be? to the christian like him out there, is there any way??i mean should we be really like this??

yes, as long as you really love each other, being a christian or catholic doesnt have any connection on having a relationship, if each of you really love each other, and willing to fight for your love, then go.. that is not a big issue after all.. =)

he keeps on telling me that he loves God more than he loves me.. and i cant do anything about that,he's avoiding me..he says that he's waiting i know what it means, that is to be like him a born again christian..i don't know i'm not yet ready to change what i believe in..

religion does matter in a relationship...if you can overcome this trial for sure you can overcome many if not all the problems your relationship will face.
