I had been a member of this site for some time and was quite happy with it. Then one day I couldn't get to the clicking part... After a while, I couldn't even log on to the site. I always knew Moniekk (the site owner) to be an honest and honorable person, so I couldn't understand what was going on, or why she didn't answer my queries... Then this morning I got a (bulk) email from her. Apparently, even she couldn't get into her own site! She's trying to rectify the situation, but will be closing the site after everything's sorted out. Here's her email: "Hi folks :-) "finally an email from me again, sorry you guys had to wait for so long. Big thank you to all of you for sticking with the site!!! "A lot happened here that prevented me from doing stuff at the site. I don't really want to go into details, but it has been "a bit of a roller-coaster" here, and I think that might be called an understatement ;-) I am glad to say things are much better now though. Plus, important for you guys, I finally managed to get back into the site, lol ;-) "However, with all that happened, I did have to come to the sad conclusion that I will need to close the site :-( The site will simply take too much time, which is something I am very short of lately. "I will however not just close the site and abandon it. I owe you guys more than that for your loyalty and trust. So here is the plan. "This morning I removed the signup page, so people can no longer join. If you are advertising the site, please be advised to change your running ads. Most webmasters will be willing to replace your ads with an ad for another site. "Now I will first look for cheaters. No reason to pay those I think ;-) "Then I will look at inactives. As the site has not been sending emails for a long time, I will set the limit for that to one full year. So if you have clicked a link in the last 12 months, your account will be ok ;-) "After that I will start going through the accounts one by one, converting points, paying the member, and then closing the account. Since the site managed to even grow during my absence this process will take some time obviously, lol, but this way all will get paid for their work on the site :-) "After all members are paid and no members are left on the site, the site will be closed. Well, unless in the meantime someone comes up who wants to buy the site of course, lol. In that case I will discuss with that person what they want ;-) I am not planning on setting the site for sale as I feel it is my responsibility to make sure you guys get what you worked for, and with a new owner you never know what will happen, but if an honest and motivated person shows interest, this might be an option. Of course if that happens I will keep you informed. "Well, I will leave it at this for now and see if I can also get back into the email boxes, lol.
