ripping it up

I am going to be ripping out the dead gardenias at the side of our house and to replace them I am making it into my pumpkin/winter squash and watermellon patch. I am going to put a "fence" around it to border it and keep it somewhat contained. This will all be as you go to enter the side gate to the backyard where the garden (raised beds) will be located. So today is manual labor day since th ground is so wet from Fay I think it will be easier to pull those dead stumps out. Atleast I hope so at any rate. I am excited about all the things I am going to be growing and the healthy veggies and fruit that we will provide for ourselves.
