Badminton! That's a sport that I'd like to try, just by curiosity.. Must be very nice to play it. =) And about Malaysia athletes, I've seen some in sports like Taekwondo, Weightlifting, Cycling and Archery also. ^^ By the way, did you watch many of the olympic games, or you aren't the "I love sport" type? ;D Finally, yes, the opening and closing were absolutely GORGEOUS.. China can really impress us when they want to. ^^

51 golds and 100 total now.I'm so excited. track and field is weak anyway, that's the only and most important regret. table tennis, diving, and weight lifting are all wonderful. boxing made great progress, too.

Romania finished on the 17th place on medals, which is a very good place considering the poor conditions Romanian athletes have to prepare in. The medals were won in sports that brought us many results over the years, so we were kind of expecting those medals to be won, not really but the athletes that won them, but in those sports. Romania won 4 gold medals in rowing, gymnastics, judo and marathon, 1 silver medal in fencing and 3 bronze medals in gymnastics, fencing and rowing. Overall, it was a good Olympic Games edition for the Romanian delegation.

17th! That's very good place! My country only reached the 23th. =/ And talking about sports, we got our main medals in Long Jump, Swimming and Volleyball.. We're kinda expecting that we had got medals on both soccers, but we just achieved a silver and a bronze.. What a pity.

As usual my country Philippines ended up zero medal again :(. I think the last time our country won a medal was back in 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta when Mansueto "Onyok" Velasco won the controversial silver medal event in the Men's 48kg (light-flyweight) category. when they play the replay of that match it is 200% clear that Onyok won that match. Filipinos got the talent to go head to head to other world class athletes but it is the support of the government on the Filipino athletes that is lacking.

Do Philippines is being part of much sports in Olympic Games? Or you're just part of some games?

Great Britain finished 4th in the medals table and won far more than what was expected with 19 gold, 13 silver and 15 bronze, making a total of 47 medals. This has been Great Britain's most successful Olympic team for 100 years.

I really like Great Britain, and watching it having such a great participation in Olympic Games was pretty nice! Also, Brazil also had it's most successful participation ever in this year, but it's by far more humble than yours. ^^
