DVD-RW can not record CD?

My recoreder it's PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-109 ,i us it to recorded for 700 more CDs,now i change a new brand RecordCD , and i try to record 10 CDS, just 1 CD success, does it means my recorder its already broken or my CDS are bad or not suit with this device? I just could throw it away?

it could be any reason. Most the time when you buy a bundle of CD's you will find bad ones. I bought a bundle of 10 cd's and 5 were bad. If you find it not working after you try a lot of CD's I would prolly think something is wrong with the recorder..Good luck
